by George Orwell

It is a book about the Russian Revolution. It is also a book about anthropomorphic farm animals who rise up against their human subjugators and subsequently, those farm animals who rise up against their own. In this case, the pigs win out, break every promise they ever made, and gaslight the fuck out of poor Snowball.
I can’t imagine peeking into the room of that end scene where the pigs and humans are casually playing cards.
Lesson learned: muscle wins out.
That’s it. That is the review.
I give Animal Farm three and a half stars.
“Four legs good, two legs bad.”
